BAFA Programme "Promotion of Entrepreneurial Know-How
The "Promotion of Entrepreneurial Know-How" is aimed at
- Young companies that have been on the market for less than two years (start-up companies)
- Enterprises from the third year after their foundation (existing enterprises)
- Enterprises in economic difficulties - irrespective of the age of the enterprise (enterprises in difficulty)
The enterprises must have their registered office in the Federal Republic of Germany and meet the EU SME definition for small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition, firms in difficulty must meet the conditions set out in point 20(a) or 20(b) of the Guidelines on State aid for rescuing and restructuring non-financial firms in difficulty (2014/249/01), as amended.
